A table of contents is not required by APA Style guidelines. However, your instructor may still require one.

  • Create the table of contents in the paper body editor in Academic Writer, making sure to format it as described in your assignment requirements, or

  • Export your paper, then use a word processing program like Apple Pages, Google Docs, or Microsoft Word to add your table of contents.
