You can choose paper templates based on the types of paper you need to write. The Basic Paper template is blank and can be used for any APA Style paper.

As you add text to your paper, Academic Writer will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. When you're ready to check your draft, the Check tools pictured below identify common APA Style errors.

TIP: If you need to create an annotated bibliography, visit the Research Lab Book section in the Main Menu. From there, you can seamlessly integrate references and add annotations, all without worrying about formatting.

Academic Writer allows you to add, edit, and organize all of your references in the Reference Library. Those references can be easily added to any of your papers.

You can create your own APA Style references using a variety of unique reference forms. References can also be imported from other sources such as databases or other reference management tools.
